Fencing in the Fruit Trees by Awesome Volunteers!

Wednesday, we five volunteers along with Mike and Margie put wire around each fruit tree so that the neighborhood deer and elk would not be tempted to nibble on the budding trees. Click on the picture below to see videos and multiple photos of the event!

Mike drove in the stakes and Margie measured out 13 feet of fencing to place around each tree. As soon as the volunteers arrived we were able to finish the task in a couple of hours!

One of the watering hoses split and sprayed water everywhere. Eric, being a great handy man, fixed the hose and the tree watering continued.

Karl was one of the heavy hitters driving the fence posts into the ground.

Jenny showed up wanting to know why she wasn't invited to the party. She showed off her muscles in pounding stakes!
