Our budding Greenhouse!

A BIG THANKS to the people opening their pockets for our project along with the generous gift of a greenhouse kit along with mulch and potting soil for micro greens. Mike has been assembling it over the past month in between snow, rain, and wind!

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time...along with spending many hours watching greenhouse assembly videos on YouTube!

After leveling the ground and staking the perimeters of the 14 X 20 foot greenhouse the next step was to lay down 1/2 inch hardware cloth to keep uninvited gophers from digging into the greenhouse.

The framing begins....

Making progress with the frame.

With the side rails being installed...it is looking more and more like a high tunnel greenhouse.

The door to nowhere......this frame is halfway installed and waiting for additional bracing and then the plastic covering.

Family came for a brief visit and were quickly enlisted to help with the end caps. More photos to follow as the project moves forward!
