The Bees Have Arrived!

Just as the fruit trees are starting to blossom the new box of bees arrived safe and sound!

Watch as Mike puts the bees in their new home along with the queen bee who will be the Matriarch of the hive!

The queen is shipped in a tiny box separate from the rest of the bees. She will eat out the sweet candy plug from inside of her box while the worker bees in the hive will eat in toward the queen thus releasing her from her throne room in a few short days.

The inverted bottles have lids with tiny hole in them to dispense the sugar water that the bees will feed on until they get established in their new habitat.

The hive is assembled back together and will then pollenate the trees and flowers on the property.
