Mike dug a 650 foot ditch to run water to fill an empty pond for water fowl.

.It was Mike's first experience using a backhoe. He did a great job! The end result was a new home for traveling Canadian and Snow geese, Mallard ducks, and a variety of other water fowl.

With uphill and down hill terrain the concern was having the water flow to the pond without going outside the ditch. Some areas were too low to dig a ditch and he had to just build a berm onto of the ground for the water to flow through.

The sidewalk had to be cut in two places in order to dig a channel for the water to flow through.

The sidewalk was careful removed and then trenched deeper for water flow. It is now time to turn the water into the ditch and see how successful the trenching is!
